WCF Davos: KaiserCommunication wins “Branding of the Future Award”

March 8, 2016 – Tuesday evening at the World Communication Forum in Davos, the agency KaiserCommunication was honoured with the Communication for Future (C4F) Davos Award in the category “Branding of the Future”. By presenting the award, the World Communication Forum Association acknowledged the agency’s PR campaign concerning the year of the Russian language and literature in Germany 2014/2015, which KaiserCommunication conceived and implemented for Russia Beyond The Headlines.

The PR campaign was characterized by its unique combination of online and offline elements. The specially created website russjahr.de with exclusive content about the cultural year and the extensive posting in social media reached about three million people. In addition, more than 70,000 people attended the over 600 events in both German and Russian cities. Promotion videos and the 32-page leaflet “Russland erLESEN” (“Discovering Russia by Reading”), as well as postcards and advertisements, topped the campaign off.

Among the award winners were such renowned companies as Ketchum Italy and SAP. Since its foundation seven years ago, the World Communication Forum considers itself as a large discussion platform for communication experts and managers from all over the world. From March 8 to March 10, 140 global participants from 31 countries discussed subjects such as “Country Reputation”, “Effective Communication in Social Media” and “Global Tourism in the Age of Communication”.
