Environment festival Berlin

3 June 2018

Every year in early summer the GRÜNE LIGA (an NGO that campaigns on environmental issues) comes together with around 250 exhibitors to turn the Straße des 17. Juni between the Brandenburg Gate and the Großer Stern (the square that is the site of the Victory Column) into Europe’s largest event boulevard – an area that combines fun, information, good music, tasty organic food and diverse innovations from the areas of environmental protection, nature conservation, and environment-friendly mobility.

On behalf of its long-standing client, the Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC), KaiserCommunication took part in this festival for the third time with an information stand. The festival took place this year on 3rd June, and over 80,000 visitors strolled amongst the various stands and gathered copious amounts of information about the topics that interested them.

The MTCC stand also attracted a lot of visitors, with people of all ages and occupations informing themselves about the sustainable management of the Malaysian tropical forests and the certification of this sustainability. Many visitors wanted to know, for example, if they can, in good conscience, buy garden furniture, corrugated outdoor tiles or windows that are made of Malaysian wood.

KaiserCommunication has supported the MTCC in its PR work in Germany since 2002.
